How hopeless is the Daily Mail? For the second time this week their crap crack sports team has written stories about Tottenham Hotspur players and printed pictures of the wrong player to go with the story. Not only that, from the paper which had a soft spot for the Nazis seems to have a problem with correctly identifying top black sportsmen. Let's be kind and put it down to incompetence than any other, ahem, "institutional" problems.
The first story on May 16 was about Ledley King - Deadley Ledley Warns the Premiership - but carried a picture of Didier Zokora, this has now been corrected and it's been too quick for it to show up on the google cache of the story, although if you search images for the headline you find the first result is the first picture they put up:
The original file name for the picture was "LedleyKing_468x316", but guys, that ain't no Ledley King.
And today we have the story "Gardner wants a More Consistent Tottenham" but with a picture of Ledley King captioned "Anthony Gardner":
UPDATE: The Mail have now changed the second story and replaced the Ledley King pic with a correctly titled photo of Anthony Gardner. Still a poor show, anyone would think the Daily Mail wasn't too bothered about the accuracy of their journalism, picture the very thought.
